Payment options for any budget
Out-of-Network Provider
My services are reimbursable through most out-of-network insurance policies. I offer multiple payment options to ensure the financial flexibility you deserve.

Clients can file out-of-network claims through their insurance providers. Most policies reimburse a portion of the fee for out-of-network mental health services, and the total cost after reimbursement often ends up close to a standard co-payment. I'll provide all the documentation you need to submit your claims.
If you're unsure of your out-of-network benefits, start by logging into your insurance provider's website or app. Many plans post your deductible status, reimbursement rates, and benefit details right in your member portal. Search for "out-of-network benefits" or "mental health coverage" under your plan details. If you can't find what you need there, call the number on your insurance card listed for "Behavioral Health” and ask the following:
What is my individual and family deductible for out-of-network providers, and once met, what percentage of the cost is reimbursed?
Are there any limits on the number of sessions per year, or a cap on reimbursement amounts?
Is pre-authorization required, and do you cover procedural codes 90837 (60-minute therapy), 90834 (45-minute therapy), and 90791 (initial evaluation)?
What is the maximum allowable reimbursement amount for codes 90834 and 90837, and is it based on the provider's fee or a set UCR rate?
Are there differences in coverage for telehealth versus in-person sessions?
What is the process for submitting claims, what documentation is needed, and how long does reimbursement take?
Reimbursements and out-of-pocket costs vary by plan, but many cover 60% to 80% of the cost.

Session fees are reimbursable
Most insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits, often covering up to 100% of treatment costs once your deductible is met, with most plans reimbursing 60%-80%. Many clients find that, after reimbursement, the out-of-pocket cost is similar to what they’d pay for in-network services. It’s worth checking with your insurance to see what your out-of-network benefits cover—you might find you don’t have to limit yourself to in-network options.More availability and flexibility in scheduling
Therapists who take insurance often have large client loads, making it harder to get in touch and often leading to long waitlists. With my practice, you can expect to schedule your first session within a week of reaching out. This allows for a quicker start to your journey, without the hassle of waiting for availability.Receive care from a highly trained and specialized clinician
I prioritize quality over quantity by maintaining a smaller caseload, which enables me to invest in ongoing training and advanced certifications. With a specialized focus, I bring a depth of knowledge and expertise to each session, offering more than basic care and tailoring treatment to your specific needs. You pick your therapist, not your insurance company
A strong connection with your therapist can make all the difference in your progress. With out-of-network options, you have the freedom to choose a therapist who aligns with your needs and goals, instead of having to settle for a provider from an in-network list. This flexibility allows you to prioritize the therapeutic relationship, leading to a more fulfilling and effective experience. You choose the length of your treatment
Insurance plans often restrict treatment length, limiting your ability to make choices about your own mental health journey. I offer both short-term and open-ended treatment options, allowing you to move at your own pace. This flexibility gives you the autonomy to start, continue, and even return to therapy as you see fit. You have the freedom to tailor your therapy journey to what works best for you, now and in the future. -
Let's work together to find a payment schedule that fits your budget and takes into account your insurance reimbursement. I'm here to make things as easy as possible for you.
For your convenience, I accept credit, debit, and HSA cards.
